2.2.9 Update

  • Introducing SMS service! Now you can send messages and have full-fledged SMS chats in the Webphone.
    • Customer portal:
      • Configure SMS plans:
        • ‘Services’ tab > ‘PBX licences’ section > SMS plans.
      • Find out how much it costs to send an SMS to a certain number:
        •  ‘Billing’ tab > ‘Rates search’ section > Outbound SMS rates.
      • To send and receive SMS, configure 'SMS routing' for SMS-enabled numbers:
        • 'Services' tab > 'Phone numbers' section > Active numbers.
    • PBX:
      • New setting for the ‘User’ object — Default SMS ID
      • Default SMS ID will be automatically selected when creating a new SMS chat in the Webphone. This can be useful if a user has access to many SMS-enabled numbers at once. 
    • Webphone. New ‘SMS’ tab, key features:
      • Chat list sorted by last message time.
      • Search for a chat by contact name or phone number. 
      • Displaying which number received the SMS. Useful if the user has access to many SMS-enabled numbers at once.
      • Choose from which number to send a message, even in an already open chat. 
      • Displaying how many characters left for an SMS and a number of SMS used (affects billing) to send a message.
      • Visual display on the tab and icon of the desktop app if there are unread messages. 
      • Quickly add the phone number to phonebook contacts if it is not yet.
      • A quick phone call to the person you're texting with. 
      • Learn information from connected CRMs.
        • Purchase of an ‘Integrations’ service is required.
  • New PBX object: ‘Call parking wallboard’.
    • Configure which ‘Сall parking’ objects you want to monitor.
    • Open the URL in any browser and display the wallboard on a TV or separate monitor.
    • Reminder: a personal ‘Call parking wallboard’ is available in the Webphone under ‘Services’ tab, where you can conveniently pick up calls. 
  • ‘Services’ tab > ‘Call recordings’ section > Storage policy > ‘Automatically delete call recordings older than’ setting:
    • Increased the limit from 90 to 11000 days.
